Mr. Demola Aladekomo Delivers Keynote Address At The 2014 CIBN Annual Lecture

The Group Managing Director, Chams Plc, Mr. Demola Aladekomo was the guest of honour at the 2014 CIBN Annual Lecture which held on Thursday October 23 at Ijewere Hall, Bankers House, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event had in attendance keystakeholders across banking, financial, public sector and the academia. 

The Identity Management pioneer who has led Chams Plc for over 29 years delivered a keynote address on the topic, Identity Management; A Catalyst For The New Economic And Financial Transformation. 

The stirring topic raised the vital question 'Who Is A Nigerian?" and sparked conversation among attendees during which industry veterans where given an opporunity to proffer solution to solving the Identity Management challenges especially as the National Identity Card project was concerned.

Also in attendance was the Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission who shared the statutory position on the National Identity Management system of which members of the audience agreed the law should be revisited.
